Scott Brown (1909-1982) was a nationally known cartoonist and proprietor of Brown’s Drugstore and Soda Shop in Mansfield, Ohio. Brown got most of the ideas for his cartoons from behind the counter of the soda shop, which served up ‘the largest, coldest and best chocolate soda on Route 30 (including all detours) to young and old alike for over 50 years, from the end of World War I to the Summer of Love.
